Oxford Assembly of God (OAG) is seeking a missions-minded full-time Senior Pastor to replace a retiring Senior Pastor after 38 years of pastoring at OAG. The ideal applicant is currently pastoring an Assembly of God Church with a comparable size congregation and staff as OAG.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time position. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Pastor must be a proven community leader who has compassion for the lost and hurting. The Senior Pastor must meet the spiritual qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. A pastor of a congregation of OAG’s size must exercise decisive leadership of the church to achieve the churches vision and mission. He will serve as the primary preacher for all worship services which currently consists of two Sunday morning services, one virtual Sunday evening service and one Wednesday evening service. He must connect with a changing demographic community, implement outreach ministries that will lead to the growth of the congregation, and demonstrate a strong commitment to community involvement and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
Example: Accreditation by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) or The Association of Theological Schools in the United States (ATS)
10 ± years of Senior or Executive level pastoral ministry experience, within an established Assembly of God Church
Ordained by Assembly of God
