Our Pen Florida District office is currently doing our best to contact our churches and ministers who have felt the effects of Hurricane Ian up and down our peninsula.
What we do know:
• Convoy of Hope is trying to be in Fort Myers on Friday, September 30. We have been told they will stage at First Assembly of God in Fort Myers.
• We do not have a report of damage on our churches or properties yet.
• We will organize work response as soon as we know when we can get into the hardest hit areas.
• Churches can, and are encouraged to, take a separate offering for our churches and people who were in the path of Hurricane Ian. Send offerings to “Hurricane Ian Relief Fund“.
Most importantly, we would encourage everyone to please keep praying! There is a lot of response and clean up and repairs that need to be made. We need everyone to help!
