Rev. Dr. Mario Garcia is an ordained Assemblies of God minister and a retired U.S. Army Captain, bringing over 30 years of leadership, ministry, and clinical experience across healthcare, hospice, military, pastoral and marketplace contexts. A passionate advocate for healing, transformation, and discipleship, Dr. Garcia serves as a Healthcare Chaplain and Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences, equipping the next generation of spiritual leaders and counselors.

He holds several  doctorates— a Doctor of Ministry in Teaching & Preaching (Knox Theological Seminary), where his dissertation focused on Redemptive Grace in the Latin American Christian Church: Developing a Redemptive Gospel for the Transformation of Toxic Roots that Self-Sabotage the Latin American Culture; and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D., Magna Cum Laude, California Southern University), with a dissertation titled The Applications of Neuro-Linguistic Programming in the Reduction of Negative Emotions, published by ProQuest,  and a Juris Doctor (law) degree.

Dr. Garcia also brings to his ministry a strong foundation in neuropsychology, health law, theology, counseling, and leadership. He is a Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, licensed attorney, a Master Certified Coach (ICF), and is certified with the AG Coaching Coalition (AG5). His extensive experience includes church planting and revitalization, chaplaincy supervision, and strategic advisory roles within mega churches, and healthcare systems.

Alongside his wife of 48 years, Wanda I. Garcia, R.N., a Certified Health Coach and ministry partner, Dr. Garcia continues to serve faithfully through Kingdom Breakthrough Academy, equipping Kingdom leaders and coaches to fulfill their divine calling with excellence. Wanda and Dr. Garcia have 3 adult children and 10 grandchildren.
