Lead Pastor/Senior Pastor

Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland, FL is searching for our next Senior/Lead Pastor. We currently hold a Sunday morning small group Bible study, Sunday morning live and online service. We also have a midweek Bible study, Children and Youth programs. Our Women’s ministry is very active as is our Senior Adult Ministry. Our Men’s ministry is moving out of a transition period and we have a desire to see it grow and expand.

Experienced candidates, licensed or ordained by the Assemblies of God, and with a vision to continue the growth of our church that serves multiple generations and cultures are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
1. A deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. Licensed and/or Ordained and good standing within the Assemblies of God
3. Pastoral experience, with a proven track record of effective leadership, ministry development, community outreach, and church growth.
4. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse congregation and adapt to various ministry contexts.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a passion for empowering others and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
6. A deep understanding of and commitment to the Bible, Christian theology, and familiar with/sensitive to Assembly of God traditions.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, organize events, and work effectively under pressure.
8. A heart for pastoral care and the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support to congregation members in times of need.
