Lead Senior Pastor

Rockledge Christian Center (RCC) is seeking an experienced and passionate full-time, ordained, Senior Pastor. Rockledge is located in central Brevard County, also known as the Space Coast, due to NASA being nearby. The church is located not far off I-95, within about 20 minutes to Cocoa Beach and within an hour of the Orlando International Airport.

RCC is a spirit filled full gospel church with a heart for souls.  It has a beautiful, and newly remodeled facility, with a growing congregation. It is a ministerially and monetarily healthy church that works together with a private school (Rockledge Christian School) and a daycare (Rockledge Christian Daycare/Preschool). Both the school and daycare are self-sustaining and work in partnership with the church.

There is strong foundation of staff, board and members ready to support the new Pastor. The congregation size of RCC currently averages about 180, including adults, youth, and children.

The ideal applicant is currently Pastoring or associate Pastoring, or has the experience from Pastoring at a church with fullgospel/Pentecostal beliefs.  There is a preference for a married individual in an effort to minister and relate to both male and female parishoners.

We ask that the Senior Pastor be a proven church leader who leads by example and has a heart for the congregation and community. The Senior Pastor should meet the spiritual qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

A pastor of a congregation of RCC’s size must be actively involved in all aspects of the church’s ministries.  Pastoring requires many talents and skills, including but no limited to: preaching, to organizational management, to relational skills and many others.  As the ministry grows, the Pastor will raise up and train leaders to take the lead roles.  He will serve as the primary preacher for all worship services which consists of one Sunday morning service, and one Wednesday evening service (which currently consists of small groups, worship-prayer nights and/or Bible studies).

□  Baptized in and follows the Holy Spirit

□  Strong personal devotional life

□  Ascribe to and proclaim traditional family values

□  Commitment to and experience with church growth and spiritual development of all age groups

□  Overachiever (someone with dedication and diligence)

□  Approachable

□  Experience building relationships within a multigenerational congregation

□  Gives tithes and offerings in leading his congregation to do likewise

□  Strong understanding and application of God’s word Pass background check
