Worship Pastor (Full-Time)

Overview:

Generations Church, a Spirit-filled, Assemblies of God congregation in Crystal River, FL, is seeking a passionate and skilled Worship Pastor to lead our congregation in dynamic, Spirit-led worship. Our mission is to help people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve with purpose. We are looking for a leader of integrity and Godly character. A leader who will cultivate an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God through worship.

Key Responsibilities:

•Worship Leadership: Lead the congregation in heartfelt, engaging, and Spirit-filled worship that aligns with the culture and vision of Generations Church.

•Team Development: Recruit, train, and disciple members of the worship and media team, fostering spiritual growth and excellence.

•Service Planning: Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan and execute worship services that integrate music, media, and other creative elements.

•Musical Excellence: Select and arrange worship songs that reflect a blend of contemporary and traditional styles while maintaining a sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

•Technical Oversight: Oversee sound, media, and livestreaming elements to ensure quality production and smooth service flow.

•Pastoral Ministry: Cultivate a spirit of prayer and encouragement within the worship team and the congregation.

Qualifications:

•A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, marked by spiritual maturity and integrity.

•A strong understanding of Pentecostal/Charismatic worship and a sensitivity to the move of the Holy Spirit.

•Proficiency in leading vocally and instrumentally (guitar and/or keyboard preferred).

•Experience leading worship in a church setting, with the ability to recruit and develop a team.

•Knowledge of worship software (ProPresenter, Planning Center, etc.) and sound systems preferred.

•Strong communication and organizational skills.

•Agreement with the Assemblies of God Statement of Faith and alignment with the vision and values of Generations Church.

Preferred Experience:

•2+ years of experience in leading worship.

•Familiarity with Assemblies of God theology and worship culture.

•Ability to work collaboratively with pastoral staff and ministry leaders.

Compensation:

•Salary: $26,000 – $32,000 annually, based on experience.

•Potential for growth as the church continues to expand.
