Finance Manager or Controller

Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial operations, drive budgeting and forecasting, and ensure fiscal health in a dynamic church environment. What You’ll Do:
Financial Strategy & Planning – Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that align with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting & Analysis – Oversee financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to leadership.
Accounts Payable & Receivable – Manage invoicing, vendor payments, and cash flow optimization.
Compliance & Audit – Ensure adherence to GAAP, nonprofit regulations, and startup financial best practices.
Process Improvement – Enhance financial systems, implement controls, and streamline operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
Experience: 5+ years in finance/accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, and Excel.
Industry Expertise: GAAP, nonprofit finance, and startup accounting experience a plus.
Strong Communicator & Leader – Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for church leadership and staff.
