About the Tour

Does my voice really count? Only if you show up!

Why is Sectional Council important?
Sectional Council happens every other year in the spring and consists of the District team visiting each section. It is the only opportunity we have as a District to work together on a local level to meet and make important decisions related to that surround community of churches and ministers. It gives the local minister a voice and an opportunity to talk, discuss, and recognize that we are more important TOGETHER than we are individually.

What do we vote on?

  • Sectional Presbyter
  • Sectional Assistant Presbyter
  • Sectional Secretary
  • District Female Presbyter Nomination from your section
  • District Under 40 Presbyter Nomination from your section

Each of the above officers should be ordained and have been a part of the Pen Florida District for at least two years and currently involved in active ministry. (Bylaw Article II, Section 2a)
